We started Pawstead because our own dogs deserved better than five minutes of attention a day.

Between work, life, and everything in between, it's easy to feel like you're never giving your dog enough — enough playtime, enough energy, enough of you. That guilt is real, and honestly, it's what got Pawstead started.

We wanted to build things that actually help close that gap. Not gimmicks, not toys that get chewed once and forgotten under the couch — real products, built to hold up, that give your dog genuine engagement even on the days you can't be the one providing it.

The Zoomie was our first step: a self-rolling, rechargeable ball that keeps dogs moving and mentally stimulated without needing you to throw a single thing. It's built to survive real play, not just look good in a photo.

We're a small, proudly South African team, and every product we make gets judged by one simple question: would our own dogs actually love this, and would it actually last? If the answer's no, it doesn't go in the store.
